Jenny Robinson
Jenny Robinson was brought up in Sarawak in Northern Borneo, Malaysia, and educated in England. Jenny studied for her BA in Fine Art Printmaking at West Surrey College of Art and Design, England.
Since moving to San Francisco in 2000, she has met with increasingly enthusiastic responses to her work and has been generating much national and international interest.
She has won many prestigious awards and had multiple exhibitions in the US, including one-person shows at the Davidson Galleries in Seattle, WA and the Larry Warnock Gallery, San Francisco.
She has work in many private and public collections, including the Achenbach Print Collection, The US Library of Congress Print Collection, the Janet Turner Print Collection and the Ashmolean in Oxford UK.
Jenny teaches printmaking workshops throughout California and the US, and is a visiting artist and lecturer at many Universities and Art Colleges. She is a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (A.R.E.) in London, The Los Angeles Printmaking Society (LAPS), the California Society of Printmakers (CSP), and is a frequent Artist in residence at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley.
